Respite Care

Respite Care is for those who just need a short stay, for example if they need an interim solution while they recover from an injury, their home is being refurbished or whilst their family are away on holiday.

It’s a great way to experience a change of scenery and a gentle introduction into care, just in case you find yourself needing more support in the future.

Palliative Care

End of life care aims to provide relief from life limiting illness, supporting residents and their families to ensure they feel comfortable and well looked after. It involves pain management, symptom control and around the clock care, whilst ensuring the resident’s physical, emotional and spiritual needs are met.

It is an honour for us to support you through this period of life, and we will ensure that everything is taken care of so you can cherish every moment you share together in those final days.

Dementia Care

Our dementia care is centered around the individual and what they need from us. Everyone’s experience of dementia is unique and the person, as well as their family, will need support that is tailored to them in the most personalised way. We will create a safe environment for them to maintain their identity, embrace the person they are and enhance their wellbeing, all while providing support to their loved ones as we navigate through this journey together.

We keep up to date with all the latest information and research on how to provide the most effective, well meaning care to those living with dementia.

When you first contact us, we will ask you a few simple questions and answer any of your queries before inviting you to visit our home. During this time we hope you’ll have enough information to allow you to make a decision that’s right for you and your family.

When you decide that Salveo Care is the right care provider for you, we will arrange an assessment of needs, which is carried out by a qualified member of the management team. This can take place wherever you are staying at a time that is convenient for you.

Before you join us, we take the time to get to know you as an individual. We’ll ask questions about your background, interests and hobbies, as well as questions relating to your medical, personal and social needs. Based on the information provided to us by you, and those closest to you, we’ll create a tailored care plan ready for when you move in.

As we get to know you and your preferences, and if you ever want to change your mind, we’ll update your care plan to build a full picture of how you’d like to live your life at Salveo Care.

The care and attention you’ll receive is completely personalised to you, your family and your combined wishes.
