Salveo Care envisions a future where aging is about living. We will change the perception of care by creating an environment where individuals feel safe to flourish, families find support and wellness becomes a way of life for those who choose to live and work in our home.

We know how daunting it can be for individuals, and their families, when daily tasks become tricky without asking for support, and that’s where we come in. We’ll make sure that everything is taken care of, so you can experience complete comfort and safety, and your family will have peace of mind knowing you’re in safe hands and that you have a whole team behind you, advocating for you.

Our story

Salveo Care was born from a personal experience shared by Peter and Kate Evans. When faced with the task of finding a care home for a loved one, they were dismayed by the substandard facilities and care available. Determined to make a difference, they envisioned a new kind of elderly care - one where cleanliness, comfort, and exceptional care were paramount. Drawing on Kate’s background as a nurse and Peter’s experience in the public sector, they opened their first care home in 2011, dedicated to providing a beautiful, warm home their residents would feel proud and safe to live in.
Their commitment to outstanding care inspired their daughter, Grace, to join the family business in 2019. As a student, Grace was immersed in Salveo Care’s mission, helping with refurbishments, administration, and spending time with residents and their families. She realised that many people never get the opportunity to work so closely with elderly people in need of care and their families. This realisation fuelled her to take on the family business, with a mission to transform people’s perception of older people and care more generally. Her passion for wellness and the importance of a community is what drives her to enhance the lives of both staff and residents, creating a nurturing environment where everyone feels welcome.
As Salveo Care continues to grow, we are excited to embark on a new journey, building a state-of-the-art care home while continuing to operate Cherry Tree House in Wendover. Our mission remains steadfast: we envision a future where aging is about living. We will change the perception of care by creating an environment where individuals feel safe to flourish, families find support and wellness becomes a way of life for those who choose to live and work in our home.

Building in Sustainability

Many organisaitons talk about sustainability, but what does it mean for a care home? We promote wellness by ensuring a healthier environment through energy-efficient systems, waste reduction and the use of eco-friendly materials, as well as promoting biodiversity in our gardens. We have created a ‘green plan’ to outline our strategies to improve environmental quality and make progress towards sustainability.

Embracing sustainability aligns with our ethical responsibilities as care providers and by reducing our carbon footprint, we contribute positively to environmental conservation efforts to ensure a thriving environment for future generations to grow old in.

Introducing the Salveo Care team

Grace Evans

Managing Director

It is an honour to be Salveo Care’s nominated individual and I vow to do everything in my power to keep our residents safe and happy while they are in our care. With a degree in psychology and a passion for wellness, I love trying to find new ways of improving the quality of life for our residents. I'm determined to get the best out of my team so we can work together to make a genuine impact on individuals and the care sector as a whole, in particular focusing on the experience of elderly people.

In my personal and professional life, I am open-minded and will take every opportunity to learn something new. With a fascination for human behaviour, I enjoy listening to podcasts, watching documentaries and speaking to different people. Aside from this, I love being mum, finding creative outlets and I am truly happiest when hosting and helping people.

Peter Evans

CEO

My journey to health and social care began in 2010, after a diverse career in policing, construction, and ICT systems integration consulting. I’ve had the privilege of owning and operating residential care and nursing homes in South Bucks, as well as taking on the role of Chair at the Buckinghamshire Care Providers Association. I am deeply passionate about the values and opportunities that an association can offer, and I actively promote the sharing of knowledge and expertise within our sector.

As CEO, I ensure that our business model prioritizes the wellbeing of our residents, creating environments where they actively choose to live. My focus remains on business development, fostering collective strength, network opportunities, and representation for care providers of all sizes, and I am confident that together we can make a significant impact and ensure the best outcomes for those we care for.

Jade Sinclair

OPERATIONS MANAGER

I am the Operations Manager for Salveo Care and am currently the registered manager for Cherry Tree House. Since 2008 I have been dedicated to the care sector, driven by a deep passion for delivering person-centred care and empowering care staff on their own development journey.

I believe that care is not just a profession but a significant part of your life that requires wholehearted commitment. The values of Salveo Care resonate with my own beliefs about what our elderly generation deserves.

Ray Hall

FINANCE MANAGER

I have worked in finance for many years, overseeing accounts and payroll, including reporting and forecasting. My aim is to work with senior managers to give, a clear picture of where we are and likely scenarios as to where we are heading.

I have worked with Salveo Care for 2 years and I am happy to be working for a family firm, with a friendly and professional team. When I'm not dealing with numbers, I like to spend my free time touring with my wife on our motorbike, exploring Europe, enjoying the culture and cuisine of different places.

Grace Russell

HR & Accounts coordinator

I have been with Salveo Care since 2020, working my way up through the administration, HR and finance departments. After working in a cooporate retail environment for many years, I wanted to work for a company that was actually making a difference to people's lives, doing a job that aligned with my own core values and felt more rewarding.

Even though I'm based in our Head Office, I love to help out in the home, arranging and delivering various activities for our residents. Outside of work I'm a mum to a beautiful little girl and I enjoy nothing more than spending time with her. Otherwise, you'll probably find me out and about enjoying a bottomless brunch.

Abi Smith

Care Relations Manager

I have worked in the Health & Social Care sector for over 12 years, supporting adult service users with a variety of care needs such as elderly care, mental health and addiction. Care is my true passion, and if you know me, you'll know that I care for every resident I meet as if they were my own family.

I worked for Salveo Care for a year in 2019, and returned in 2022 to join the Operations team, to help implement changes, support managers and take the quality of care to the next level. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, walking my dog and exploring new places.

Encouraging intergenerational connections

Inviting young children into our homes to spend time with our elderly residents is something we do at every given opportunity. Whether it’s a local nursery, school, playgroup or family, these interactions create enriching experiences that truly bridge the generational gap and leave everyone smiling. By engaging in shared activities, storytelling and simply enjoying eachother’s company, young children and the elderly form meaningful bonds that enhance wellbeing.

There’s so many reasons why inviting children into our homes is a good idea, we don’t know why everyone isn’t doing it! We are so passionate about the benefits that we’ve made intergenerational interactions a core part of our activities and wellness programme.
